Luís Lopes

Luís Lopes was born in 1954. He is from Porto Novo and started early doing craft. He already participated in many international fairs. He had to deal with a lot of difficulties at the beginning, but then managed to establish himself as a craftsman and is now recognized as one of the best potter in the island.

His work is focused on enhancing and using the products with which the people of the island identify.
